“Civil Military Relations in a Democracy”
The 9 of August the AAD organized a lunch with Dr. Richard B. Goetze, Major General (Ret.) USAF, as the main speaker.
Dr Richard B. Goetze served as the Vice Director of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, President of the College of Aeronautics in New York City and now is the Deputy Program Manager for Latin America of the Center for Civil–Military Relations (CCMR) in Monterrey, California.
Veteran of Vietnam, and with several outstanding positions in the military and private field, Dr Goetze is an authority in civic-military issues, decision making in national security, strategic nuclear war, security in Latin America and Institutional Strategic Leadership; and was in Argentina from the 6 to the 10 of August dictating a Seminar on civil control of the Armed Forces in the "Libertador" Building.
The meeting counted with the attendance of members of the Argentine Armed Forces, academics, investigators, members of the juridical power, advisors and businessman.
