"Management of public policies and NGO's"
Last April 9th, our Foundation had the honor of hosted a luch with Peter Shiras, vice president - employment at the International Youth Foundation (IYF), with programs in almost 70 countries, Director of CIVICUS (a world alliance for Citizen Participation) and serves on the board of directors of the BBB Wise Giving Alliance, the most influential organization in the United States that sets standards for non-profit accountability.
Previously, Peter was senior vice president of programmes at Independent Sector (IS), the largest American association of non-profit organisations, foundations, and corporate philanthropy programmes based in Washington D.C.
The activity counted with the presence of many representatives from different NGO´s and Foundations, politics and specialists in the thematic.
