"Afghanistan, Pakistan and Middle East: the Challenges of the Foreign Policy of the Obama Administration"
Closing the year, last 9 of December we developed a couple of activities with Dr. Marco Vicenzino, director of the Global Strategy Project (GSP) and chief strategic advisor of the Afghanistan World Foundation.
As a lawyer admitted to the New York State Bar, Mr. Vicenzino received his law degree from Oxford University and LL.M. in International & Comparative Law from Georgetown University Law Center. Mr. Vicenzino received his B.A. in History and Political Science and M.A. in Government & Politics, with a Certificate in International Law & Diplomacy, from St. John’s University in New York.
He specializes in international strategic policy and global political risk analysis. As a foreign affairs commentator, he contributes his views regularly to numerous media outlets throughout the world, including BBC World television and radio, CNN International, CNN Spanish, Fox News, and Al Jazeera Arabic and International. He covers numerous areas including international conflict and security issues, US foreign policy, terrorism, transatlantic relations, the Middle East, Latin America and the emerging geopolitical role of Asian powers in a globalized world.
Mr. Vicenzino served as Deputy Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies-US (IISS-US) in Washington, DC. He also taught International Law at the School of International Studies at American University in Washington, DC, and was recently appointed by the Foreign Policy Association in New York as a John C. Whitehead Fellow.
With him he had a lunch at the American Club and a lecture at CARI, with the presence of diplomats, academics, legislators, etc.
