"Regimes and policies on greenhouse control in the USA and their legal aspects"
Last 25 of June our Foundation organized a lunch with specialists in environmental and energy issues, with the the presence of Dr. Luis Martinez, attorney with the Natural Resources Defense Council’s energy program.
The work of Martinez focuses on state energy and climate policy, utility regulation, energy efficiency and renewable energy programs.
Prior to joining NRDC, Luis was a special aid to the president of the Environmental Quality Board in Puerto Rico. During his time at the EQB, he also served as legislative director for the agency and as special counsel for the Vieques and Culebra Island clean-up. He is also a member of the executive committee of the New York State Bar Association's Environmental Law Section and co-chair of the Environmental Justice Committee.
The meeting had the attendance of members from the Circle of Legislators of the National Congress, and of several Chambers, legal studies and several more sectors.
