“Investment Strategies for Municipalities”
The Dialogue organized for the last 1st of September, jointly with the University of Belgrano, a table of debate to deal with the subject "Investment Strategies for Municipalities".
The interchange of ideas, experiences and suggestions was headed by Mr. Carlos Valderrama, Director of Latin American Operations at the law firm of Carlsmith Ball LLP, and responsible for structuring strategic alliances and business relationships between U.S. and Latin American firms.
In the debate, which counted with the participation of students, proffesors and members of different foundations, Mr. Valderrama also made reference to the process of globalización, and different initiatives of integration. Among them he emphasized the NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement), of which he analyzed several of his successes and failures; marking that between the seconds many were derived from the absence of effective mechanisms of cooperation between the States and the companies.
