The purpose of the Argentine American Dialogue (AAD) is the establishment of a not-partisan center for the analysis of policies and the exchange of ideas on issues pertinent to the relation between the United States (U.S. and Argentine).
The AAD summons personalities and institutions of both
countries for the discussion of issues of reciprocal interest and for the generation of opportunities that deepen the political, economic, technological, academic and cultural relations between both countries. Additionally, it will have as its purpose to improve
the understanding and the friendship between the two nations.
The objectives of the AAD will be:
1. To promote the understanding and friendship between the
people of the U.S. and Argentina.
2. To promote the political, economic, technological, cultural and academic ties between both countries.
To achieve the fulfilment of these goals the AAD will
promote the following:
1. Forums, discussion groups, seminaries, courses and other similar programs for the debate of issues affecting the bilateral relation and informing the leaders of both countries about:
a) Strategic relations between both nations and the
benefits of expanding political, economic, social and cultural ties in a cooperative frame.
b) Economic realities in the region affecting the
expansion of markets and business relations.
2. Publications related to the promotion and investigation of the bilateral relation.
3. Programs contributing to the education of professionals
through the development of careers in the public and private sectors, including scholarships, internships and programs for technical and technological exchange.
4. Participation in these activities of academic, government and industry representatives in a non-partisan manner.
5. The establishment of institutional cooperation agreements
with the main non-governmental, governmental, multilateral and international organizations linked to the Foundation’s goals.
